The "B" is engine breaking. When you choose it the engine shifts down and lets the RPMs wind down to recharge the battery. Basically the "B" is a KERS button. I use it to slowly slow myself down when I would normally (in any other car) let myself idle to a stop or any other instance.
Thanks, makes sense. Apparently on descending steep grades the regenerative braking can get overworked, so you use B.
for 26k, you could've bought a regular prius, with some change to spare.
kinda defeats the purpose of a cheaper prius and saving gas money.
but whatever, nice car.
True, but I don't like fullsize cars, prefer subcompacts.
I would think it's around 27/27.5k after TTL?
Yupper. $27,6.
If you adjust the temperature with the steering wheel buttons, does it turn the dash knob to match?
Humm, haven't even adjusted the temp yet, been in the 60s. I would doubt it does. The only thing I've ever seen do that was a Technics tuner from the early 90s. Hit volume up on the remote, and the volume knob on the tuner moved.
wow for 25k the interor really isnt that high grade...toyota seems to be slipping really badly. hell the interor is cheap and plasticy on my 07 chevy cobalt base model but when you could buy that car for 12k OTD its to be expected. this is plastic sprinked with tech bits. its kind of a let down to the outside which is nice with the exception of the the chrome tails.
Well remember it starts under $19k.
WTF, I thought they were supposed to be $19k. WTF happened?
And a bit misleading, as it doesn't include a $760 destination charge. Realistically, the Two, with floor mats, etc. is going to run $21k. Really the cheapest, complete one you can get.
