You've gotten almost 20% in raises since you started and that has only been 2 years...thats the way the company is looking at it at least.
This is why people switch jobs...you start at a higher salary instead of work your way up to it.
The funny part is our marketing guy makes 120k and golfs all day and works like 20 hours a week lol. But the 3 IT guys who keep our company in business make shit. Our credit union is our only client that is keeping us in biz.

OP, you've worked for 6-7 years and you're complaining about this? Damn you are stupid. How can you have worked for so many years and not realize that raises don't automatically increase from year to year?

You have to consider the entire scenario, he's gotten fucked long term by getting way underpaid for the work he does.

You're severely underpaid. I'd start looking. Good vmware experience can bring you top dollar - 100K+

This. I have 3 years of VMware experience and have the VCP. My current job blows because I don't get to work on VMware or the SAN much because others with more seniority "like it." Living in South Dakota I make $56k but want to move to a bigger city and get a System Architecture position.

Good for you!
Your career and direction is in your hands. Make the most of it. IT still brings a pretty penny in terms of compensation (100-200K). But you have to truly become an expert. And one can become an expert with 5-7 years experience provided that is GOOD experience/exposure.

I talked to my boss again. He said after I get my VCP cert in October they want me to transition my MCSA into MCSE asap. This is getting hilarious

I wouldn't call it hilarious. If they're paying for all that then suck it all up and jump ship when you've got your certs.
