Scheduling a trial
You or an agent must file a Notice of Intention to Appear (NIA) at any POA court location within 15 days of receiving the ticket. After 15 days, the request must be made at the POA court location indicated on the back of the ticket.
You may request a night court trial on the NIA, however, please be advised that night court sessions are only available at Old City Hall (60 Queen Street West) and are limited to parking ticket trials only.
Starting September 11, 2006, night court sessions at Old City Hall will be expanded to include trials for some minor traffic infractions such as speeding. Night court trials are no longer available at the Toronto East (1530 Markham Road) or Toronto West (2700 Eglinton Ave. W.) court locations.
A trial date will be set and mailed to you after filing a NIA (if an agent is representing you at trial, you must authorize the POA court location, in writing, to mail the Notice of Trial to the representative.)
If you are unable to appear on the scheduled date, a motion to change your trial date (adjournment) and supporting affidavit must be completed and filed before your scheduled court date. A representative may attend POA court on your behalf. For more information please call 416-338-7320.
Note: POA Court Administration staff do not have the authority to change a court date.

fight it. just go to the office and line up. you can't book appointment, just show up at the place listed on the ticket.
that is 3 points, run to fight it. As long as you don't have a long ticket history, you get off with fine but no points.
I got one for failure to stop at a stop sign last year. Still haven't figured out how I missed the stop sign, but I went into that place and wasted a day there, but still better than demerit points.
actually, just go into that office, fill out a form to speak with a justice of peace, wait for hours and then the clerk call you in, offer you a deal, you say yes or no to the deal (obviously yes) and then wait a little more, you then enter a plea with a justice of peace, pleading to the lessened charge.
unless the clerk did not lessen the charge, then you might want to fight it in court.
