Got an iPod Mini but hate iTunes. Any alternatives?

As the title suggests, I hate iTunes. Although I like Apple products, iTunes simply sucks (IMHO). Any alternatives for it?

ephpod, worked great before iTunes came our for the PC. Why do you hate iTunes? I started using iTunes a while ago, and found it to be really great because of its perfect integration with the ipod. I use smart playlists and let iTunes import my mp3s, so I never have to worry about organizing them.

Itunes are great! They sound great, are smaller then MP3's and the integration is great!

I like EphPod best. I don't like the way iTunes makes me keep my entire MP3 collection on HD (since I own all the CDs, I prefer to just rip and transfer them, then delete them).

anapod.. interesting... i might have to give it atry... but itunes is free The one thing about itunes i liked was how it keeps track of how many times i play something.

The thing I don't like about itunes is when I add mp3's to my collection I have to tell it that I did.. it does not autoscan my mp3 dir for new mp3's.

Personally I prefer to just buy CD's and then rip them.

If your cheap you can do the BMG columbia house type thing. There are websites that tell you exactly how to get the best deals.

Or buy used CDs.

Duh. I thought you were talking about the online store iTunes, not the App.

I use Zinf. It will scan your harddrive or any directories you specify. It will automaticly arange everything into playlists you can then use to build and keep track of different lists.

I'd almost never use one if I got one.

On the rare occasions that I need portable music (other than car) I just use burned CDs and a walkman.
