Craftsman Cordless VersaPak Rotary Tool Set

Shipping is about $5.

What's unique about this kit (other than the price) is that it should use standard Black & Decker VersaPak batteries. Might be kinda useful if you already have VersaPak tools. And it appears you at least get a one-year warranty out of it. I don't own such a device, so I don't know what's good and what's not. However, I haven't seen a more complete kit for a price this low.

This looks like a very good price on this tool. The accessory kit alone would probably cost almost that much if purchased separately. I've had one of these for years, and find new uses for it all the time. However, I would recommend picking up an extra battery, because a charge doesn't last all that long.

Hah - it's a card they give to their employees. Most cashiers will make you ID for it anyway. I got some nice deal on some new tires with that discount too for some great mudding tires.

Funny thing is, I don't even really work for 'Sears' I just work for Sears Home Service - it's a different company, under Sears' name. But we still get all the employee discounts and stuff. It's nice! I hope I can get first dibs on an xbox soon, so I won't have to do one of those stupid bundle deals online. What a waste of money.

I have the corded one, if you want to do case modding, you want to get the corded model as it has variable speeds and wont run out of batteries. This model will work with the dremel bits.

I found this tool quite handy for remove rusted bolts and cutting auto exhaust system. It is nice to be cordless. The battery last long enough to do the work, the real problem is that the grinding disk last less than a minute an needs to be replaced. That is why there are 70 grinding disks.

I've read some user reviews regarding less than stellar performance from the battery. But, if you already have VersaPak-driven tools, batteries should be a problem.

I ordered the B&D model from the same site this morning for $10 more, to be on the safe side. I've already received a "hand-written" confirmation (wasn't a table layout, just a note) saying my kit should ship tomorrow or Wednesday). Nice touch. Wish I had known about any coupon codes though (and I looked before ordering).

Really? I just traded in a 5 year old circular saw because the motor burned out. They may not have a lifetime warranty, but they're rediculously long.

Right....any sort of metal work will almost require the corded one due to its extra power.
