Got gas for $2.00

Thought that was a bit odd because I've never seen someone sell gas without that 9/10 of a penny on there.

But this was also at a gas station that is a bit odd. It is just a little corner store that only sells unleaded. The upside is that they have the cheapest unleaded in the immediate area of my house.

Gas prices are low right now because there haven't been any hurricanes disrupting the production of oil from the Gulf of Mexico. No bad news = gas prices go down. But it's not going to stay low forever.

Gas prices are low right now because there haven't been any hurricanes disrupting the production of oil from the Gulf of Mexico. No bad news = gas prices go down. But it's not going to stay low forever.

Don't forget that the Israeli/Palestenian conflict cooled down, the Iranian thing has cooled down somewhat, and now that summer driving season is over demand drops and all the special blends go away. The "barrel of oil price bubble" burst when all that happened.

Norcross on the corner of Medlock Bridge and Spalding Dr.

Most of the gas stations in my area are in the $2.03 to $2.09 range (with the 9/10 of a penny). If I want to get it for under $2.00 right now, I can go out of my way to the Kroger on Old Norcross Rd and use their 10 cents off a gallon deal. That makes it around $1.95.

Check http://www.atlantagasprices.com/ for the cheapest gas in your area.

Oh, I work over in the Alpharetta area on the other side of 400 from N. Point Mall. Which is perfect for me because I'm against the flow of traffic for most of my morning and afternoon commutes.

I'm not sure having a Fry's somewhat convienently near me is a good thing though. The fact that I hate going up around Gwinnett Place Mall is just enough of a deterrent to prevent me from spending too much money. :laugh:

Paid 1.999 this morning with their $0.10 off / gallon.

Starting next week I get $0.20 off / gallon. Bought alot of groceries last month... lol

Since the government regulated prices here (Nova Scotia) the prices have been ending with .7 and .3 and other strange numbers.

Gas in Canada is also more expensive as well! Tell eveyone who drive tanks about it and watch their faces go pale!
