So far, I'm rather pleased with it, though I must say it is rather large. Everything looks better than it did on my old monitor (a Samsung 152N). Only downside that I've noticed is I have one stuck pixel (anyone have a link to that site where it flashes several different colors a second?). I haven't really noticed any banding, and I've checked with several pictures that I found while doing research on this monitor.

I got lucky with this monitor in a way. On the Dell forums, there was a post saying that you had to order after July 5th to be assured of getting A02 (the one that fixes the banding). Even with that, I ordered on the 1st to get the discount since I figured a little hassle would be worth the ~$90 or so sale they had going on at the time. Fortunantly I got A02, so yay for that.

Anyone that's looking for a nice 20.1" widescreen will find this a good buy, especially if it goes on sale again (at least in my opinion). If someone's looking into buying one of these and has a specific question on something, feel free to ask.

From what I've heard the A02 revisions still have banding.

The monitor itself plays game very well. Rich colors, good crisp look. Compares very, very well with the NEC (except for the banding issue). That alone is its only drawback.

Sorry, I haven't tried scaling it yet, don't really need to.

I am rather happy with this monitor, however with any luck I can get that one pixel unstuck.

The only modern gaming I do (for the moment) is some Guild Wars, and the picture seemed lovely when I tested it a little. I haven't really tried scaling yet either, but I do want to try playing Starcraft on it as sometimes my friends and I play.

The resolutions I can chose on my card (Gigabyte Radeon 9600 Pro using the newst Omega Drivers) range from 800x600 to 1680x1050, and there's an option in one of the onscreen menus to have the aspect be 1:1, 4:3 or Full if you're not using the native resolution. (I think that's what it is for, I can't use it in 1680x1050 though)

At times I think I see the so called "Screen door effect" when watching a show and someone moves around quickly, but I could be imagining it as well.
