well, aren't truck engine focus on torque than Horsepower?
Toyota's 4.7L on the LX470 and Land Cruiser has like 300hp, and the smaller 4.3L on the LS and SC has more hp.
The Mustang is an "affordable" car with a strong V8. Show me any other car that you can buy for the price of a new mustang with 300 HP.
