got my car towed last night :(

went to a friend apartment complex last night for a get together and he towed me i can parked anywhere in the parking lot since it's the weekend. Woke up in the morning, my car got towed.

$95 to get the freaking car out but the whole damn car is only worth $1000. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, what a great way to start of the day.

nah, this is in Richmond. But i got towed in ANnandale before. I had my permit on but my school parking permit was covering the apartment permit.

You bother pointing out that you had a permit (I'm assuming valid for where you parked) to the towing company? Since they towed something that had every right to be there, you should insist that they cough it up for free.

If that's not the case, your friend should compensate you to some extent.

they don't buy that $hit, they just want your money. I pointed out the permit to them but they told me they can't see it. I forgot to put the apartment parking permit up front because i just came home to visit from college for the weekend.
