I am 16 and I just got my first job working part time as cleaning boy/ cashier at Tim Hortons for $7.50/hr (CAN)!!

I just interviewed and was hired.

I was 14 and worked at a restaurant/sandwhich shop. $2.65 hour and felt like you do today. They closed 3 weeks after I went to work there. Found another job quick though.

I remember making that much when I was 16 and I was able to get all it back when I filed for income tax. They take so little anyway when you make 200 a week.

There at 6:30 every morning to make breakfast burritos/sandwiches and then serve them until 10 minutes before first period. Then work at lunch until 15 minutes before 5th period. Made minimum, which was probably like 6.25 at the time. The other student workers were all my friends though, so it was fun and we always made ourselves huge breakfast foods.

My first "job" was all volunteer work at a local camp. I was a Counselor in Training, so I had all the bitchwork and none of the pay. Although camp was free . After a couple summers of that I was a Junior Counselor and I made 6.50 or something.

Hopefully you get perks for working at Timmy-Ho's. Such as free donuts of course, I got free ice cream when I worked at DQ, was one of the best perks . Enjoy :beer: (I can't do a coffee cup )

My first job was when I was 18. I worked in IT. They took a chunk away. I worked in the school library last year and they took so little. Hmmm. I wonder how much they'll be taking off of my paycheck this summer.

My second job was at a grocery store as a courtesy clerk. One of my high school friends also worked there and we had a blast. One time we were racing those pallet truck things and I took a sharp turn almost wiping out in the wine area. Man that would have been ugly.

I went to apply at a grocery store and the guy says that he needed people to work the meat counter. I was 16 and dumb and was like sure cause I wanted a job. Lasted about 2 weeks and I quit. I made like 5.50 hour which was above min wage. Once I worked in a factory in college. Another mistake. Good thing I'm an engineer right now.

15 years old construction worker for my dad's business. was not paid based on hour wage but weekly wage, began getting paid $175 a week at 15 till $400 a week at 22.

i'm taking this summer off to do some voluntary jobs (community service hours FTW.) i just need to make my resume look good.
