Update: So i talked to my friend about this whole thing, and apparently him and her are best friends and i didnt even know it! So, he is like "Dont worry dude, I got you covered, i got it" and he wont tell me what hes gonna do, but should I not get my hopes up, he is a pretty trustworthy friend?

I have to caution you... sometimes her knowing about your interest can kill it. You should remain yourself and play it cool instead of... uhh... hi... so he told you ? etc. etc. It's easier to be sweet on someone if they know but don't talk about it directly until all the flirting puts you on base.

This is assuming your friend really did his job like he made it sound like he was going to... I don't want to get your hopes up.

gee thanks, but I had a question about this. From what I am told, she is one that doesnt like to go out much, likes sitting around at home and talking to her mom. I am one to not go out often too, but I love taking long drives talking with people. Would offering something like this as friends be a good idea, if she ever mentions anything about us, since its informal, and we can just talk about stuff, which is what i ultimately want.

I know what you are saying, and like I said, this year we dont have any classes so we cant talk much, in the past we have been good friends though. Thats why I was asking if proposing this would be approiate or not.
