Got my iPod Touch..

but just saw on woot.com that 30GB zune is only $135 shipped. wow.

I had a touch but I returned it because it didnt work with the iPod adapter for my car. That adapter allows me to directly control my iPod from my head unit. It pissed me off when it didnt work. Anyone else that has a touch having any accessory problems?

it's big, it's expensive and it's so big membery that i don't know where can i going to use them ... ...

my most favourite song is only that ipod nano.

Simple solution, use a windows box OR use virtual PC and run it in windows. OR stop using macs if you dont want to be left out in the cold because you are version .01 behind.

Shoot, my 4GB Ipod Nano holds all my music with plenty of room to spare. Its only about 55 to 60% full at the moment. You guys must be storing more than just music if you complain that 60GB is too small. 60GB is too small for my PC's storage capacity, but I'm not going to upload my porn collection to an Ipod.

Nope. I have the latest software updates on my iMac, just don't have Tiger (10.4) yet...and with Leopard coming out in a while Apple kind of fvcked us Panther (10.3.9) users with this iPod touch :| I'm gonna call cust service maybe they will credit me something and let me buy the Leopard for a little bit and then when Leopard comes out I'll be able to get it free..

Give me an 80GB HDD based iPod touch and I'd be all over it.

16GB? That's useless, and would force me to carry my 5G iPod with me as well just for music.

16GB is a loss of 4GB for me switching from my Cowon IAUDIO X5. While I also lost features such as fm tuner, voice recorder, and some format compatibility, I gain a whole slew of features that are even more important.

Web browsing rocks on the touch. I don't have pull out my laptop all the time to look up something simple. I will be able to have all my contacts with me at all times. Yes that could be done with other devices but I carry my music player with me all the time. So the added features are awesome for ME.

I listen to a lot of podcasting so I have to sync with my computer to charge and sync every few days. So why is 16GB too small? I don't need my whole 200GB music library with me. I just sync 12GB of tunes and go. No way I could listen to more than 12GB of tunes in a few days.

But yes if you have the requirement to carry your entire music library with you, then it will not meet your requirements. However, I believe you are a minority.

Agreed. I have a huge library, but I see no reason to try and cram 100% of it on to a portable device. Do you need 40,000 songs on your iPod?

Video certainly sucks the space but 16GB is plenty for my needs, and I suspect most others as well.

Exactly..I don't listen to but a few songs of my tens of thousands anyway and when it does switch up it's easy as 1-2-3 to update the iPod. So I don't mind at all.

Remember when we didn't have iPods/mp3 players and we had to keep burning CDs to keep up with the music we listened to?? Now you complain about changing it in 10 seconds on an iPod.. Funny what the world is coming to.

Video is my biggest reason for not getting one at this time.

16GB's would be fine for just audio but this device is geared towards being an excellent video player (minus the lack of codec support) yet at 16GB's that is hardly enough for both music and videos.

For some of us 60 GB would barley be enough

I put all of my music on my MP3 player and just make playlists or just shuffel through my entire lib, i know not everyone does this but i do and i would want my MP3 player to do that

and seeing as it plays videos it really should have more space on it

Badass touch screen UI
WiFi
Nice screen for video (The non defective ones)
Flash memory
Thinness

I have about 13gb of music so 3 gb of video should suffice for me (I just have a bunch of The Office episodes that I rip). But still, if it had 20gb then i'd be happy. The price for the 16gb is the only thing holding me back. I mean $400 bucks for 16gb!? WTF Price it at $300 and I'll bite.
