Still can't quite see what's special about this car, but it's a Toyota, so it will be reliable.
Toyota reliability
Features galore
$16,500 loaded
Reasonably quick, 0-60 in 7.4-7.5 seconds
Need I say more?

nice car.....congrats That huge sunroof is impressive
How is the quality of the plastics inside the car?...i.e dashboard, door panels, etc. In the pic, it looks like the dash is hard plastic. Not knocking your car by any means, I am just wondering if the plastics are "quality".
trying to figure where Toyota cut corners to make this car so inexpensive for all the features you get.

Pardon me if you have to. But I always doubt Toyota's handling capability, they are just too blend for my taste.

Is the hood popped or is that the gap?

You've never driven a Supra or an MR-2 then, all of the ones I've driven have handled more than impressively, much better than the FWD japanese cars that are praised for handling on this board (the prelude comes to mind, and I've driven a fair shar of those as well).

NFS4, did you buy a Scion tC too?
Upon more research, I like everything about this car except the side profile (but the front, rear, top, and offset angles all look good).
I'm very impressed at how much car you get for the money with the Scion tC. The quality... I mean, that's a 2.4L engine in there that's the same as from my RAV4!!! Usually it's more like a 1.6L or at most a 1.8L in this class.
It's the economist in me... I like to see efficiency: quality at an inexpensive price. I expect outrageous performance and quality in an expensive automobile, but to do so at a working man's budget is truly an accomplishment.
