I was trying to start a van with maliciously cut spark plug wires by holding the ends together. Turned on the ignition, and definitely felt a jolt.

Not trying to drive it. Just trying to get it started. I had already seen spark from the wire because it was near a piece of metal.

I went to the junkyard and got three sparky cables off a truck.
