Got Office 2003 Pro Yesterday :-)

So I got a copy of Office 2003 Pro full version and it didn't cost me a penny. The thing isn't even released yet. I got it for free because I attended a training session put on by one of the Canadian marketing reps from Microsoft.
There is a cool new feature where you can set documents to delete themselves after certain perameters are met. Anyhow, I guess it's time to retire office 2K.

I love the new anti-spam functions of Outlook.

Yes, Outlook 2003 r0x0rZ and it alone is worth the upgrade (bought a copy of Student and Teacher Office 2k3 through my sister.) I love the new layout...WORKS REALLY WELL for those of you with widescreen displays! And the antispam actually works...never had to configure anything! All those penis enlargement and herbal viagra spams with the random characters are auto-junked.

 

My school doesnt have it yet .

We've had it for just about a month at work. Nothing special.....of all the apps only Outlook has really changed much....and as usual those changes are mostly annoying.

I've been using Office 2003 for about a week (from MSDN sub) and Outlook 2003 has been really improved a lot! The UI has a new look and everything is organized in a more coherent manner. There's more spam filter stuff but I haven't used those yet since I get no spam at work. The rest of the stuff (word, excel, etc) doesn't behave that differently (from what I've seen) except for the new UI look

looks better than it did before...i hated the old layout of outlook, hence i never used it....

I may have to look into obtaining Office 2003. It's good to have uncles who work at Microsoft, albeit there are other less desirable ways if necessary.

just one of the websites i visit... (not adult or anything..) it was actually a $3.00 charge. gotta love 'generated' credit card info... just set the limit for $3.00 and you're good to go ... no recurring charge or nothing.
