And in colder climates I'm sure a lot more people drive in wintertime than summertime. Right now I'm using my bicycle to go to work, but I wouldn't do that in January.

To me, that's a bullsh*t reason.

People drive a LOT more miles in their daily commute than on an occasional road trip because there are just so many more people driving in rush hour each day than are driving down I-95 to Florida. And, those people driving at rush hour are sitting in stop-and-go traffic burning more fuel than those cruising at highway speeds.

Excuse me, guess you haven't been paying attention to the articles that demand in the U.S. or China has not gone up in a way to cause the run up.

ZERO, NADA, ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with supply and demand and even the Sand Thugs Leader himself said so.
