yea i thought so. when everybody started talkin about johnny depp in gothika, i seriously thought i had slept thru the movie
but the movie was really good. i dunno why it got bad reviews

Some cool scary scenes and a WONDERFUL acting job by Halle Berry, but overall it only deserves a "decent"

- Cliche plot (sixth sense, tru calling, any other "i see dead people" movie)
- Easy to figure out (nothing that panned out was unexpected)
- Horrible ending (did it just get cheesy or what?)
- No nudity! (so many teases..... so litte cleavage)

I seen this tonight. I was very surprised. It is a really good movie. Its got some nice twists. Worth the price of admission. Its a solid B.

haven't seen the movie yet, probably won't till screeners start showing up. i don't know about other people, but i am very sick of seeing halle berry everywhere. in a couple movies she was very good, but she's being put into everything just for the money that follows her, and not because she actually fits/can act the role.

It wasn't a bad movie at all. I liked it, but I'm still on a fence on deciding if I really liked it.

It had a interesting mix of themes including ghost , mystery, and drama .

Halle Berry is a great actress with tremendous range. She is without question one of the top 2-3 actresses. The chick can really really act.
