gotta plan a (bachelor) party

Ok, my older brother is getting married, I couldn't be happier for him, he's been with the same girl since jr high. He's 23 FYI.

I am the best man, and thus it becomes my dubious duty to send him off to the married world. I can throw a college party like no other...give me a theme, college kids, and alcohol, and I will show you the time of your life. This is different though....I gotta make this one for the ages. Any ideas on how to send him off?

Well, I guess the first thing you have to decide

a) host the event yourself someplace
b) hit lots of bars
c) hit just a few of his favorite bars

If he's not in the same town as you (or at least close by), it can be hard to plan something like this unless you know where all the bars are, etc.

Just make sure you have the basics covered: food, music, alcohol, and entertainment.

I've set up a bachelor party twice. One I hosted myself and I grilled a bunch of burgers and BBQ chicken and stocked my place with lots of liquor some beer with "live entertainment" arriving later in the evening. Since we weren't driving anywhere, we could all get hammered without having to worry about anything. If you know a lot of the people, try to call some of them up and delegate a bit (have someone bring a bottle of vodka, someone else bring a bottle of something else, etc). Liquor is EXPENSIVE. Even more so on a college student's budget.

The second one was a LOT easier for me (we just hit several of my friend's favorite bars) but not as much fun because I couldn't drink much. Remember, if you take your brother out for drinks, it's YOUR responsibility to make sure he gets home safe and sound without having to explain anything to his fiancee.

U, where is a value representing the Utility gained from attending the party. A greater Utility means a greater amount of enjoyment:

i believe the ^100 factor of willingness to perform sexual favors is grossly overstated.

A friend of mine is having his BP on Wednesday. We have quite a day planned. We've rented a 14-passenger chauffeured van, so no worries about DUI. We start at 2 pm at Champs Karting (indoor go-kart racing, with beer on premises!), followed by a trip to the casino, after which we retire to a friend's house, where the lesbian stripper stage show commences.

People marry at 17. Doesnt mean its a good idea though.

If you live in or near a big city, I would recommend an exclusive gentlemens club. They host these things a lot and know how to make a good party. Really good food, privacy, lots of hot girls. However it will cost you a pretty penny.

Failing that, search your local strip bars and ask if they will reserve a room for a bachelor party. Probably a better deal for your money. Some bars love that kind of business, other have had bad experiences and wont do it. Or may impose fun-killing guidelines.

One big word of advice: Dont bring drugs, or allow anyone else to. There's always at least one guy who has to bring a big bag of something or other, simply because he feels bachelor parties need chems. But the chances for a police raid increase exponentially.
One of the strippers may be undercover vice looking for pervs.

On that same note: Be careful of the stripper 'favors'. The consequences outweigh the benefits. Cops are really good about keeping their ears to the ground. Have been to two parties where they slipped in an under cover babe. She was easy to spot: The best looking. Getting busted is especially bad if the bride finds out.

Get a bowling ball, drill a hole in it and screw in an eye bolt, attach a chain to it, and chain it to the leg of the guy getting married. Did that for a buddy of mine.

Dont know about bizarro but every state has police.
It always seemed to me that Vice Squad is just a big waste of tax dollars and trained bodies.
The first one was in Jacksonville Florida, which is heavily influenced by southern baptists. Thats why the strip bar laws get anal every so often.
The second was in Norfolk Virginia. I think they're just bored up there. Too much real crime so they have to bust horny guys every couple of days.
In both instances the only people actually hauled downtown were strippers.
