The point is that you have to apply yourself and you can do it. And obviously attend all classes. Don't drop out.

b) i am constantly reading books. I just started a new one the other day and I have probably over 30 waiting to be read after that one.

I wasn't insulting you, just pointing out the perspective of the registrar, the school, and the professors'. I merely gave advice in terms of how you will have to approach a renewed effort to succeeding in school. Again, I commend it.
If at any point I became direct, or personally insulting in your estimation, it was in response to your misunderstanding of my advice.
Take a poll if you wish. I feel that I'm on the side of reality, and simply pointing out the attitude you need to assume if you want to succeed. Tough ****** if you don't have the stomach to take yourself seriously.

It was the one in which you asked about Ebay discontuing the sell of certain goods. The immediate, and obvious question to which was "What kind of goods are you trying to sell."
To which you respond: "That question is totally irrelevent to the subject."
Of course, it's the only question that someone can ask in this situation. Anyhoo...it came out based on other similar threads that you started that day or earlier, that you were selling, or interested in buying virtual WoW goods. To each his own, IMO.
The only reason I brought it up here (besides as an example of an inability to grasp irony), was that if you are indeed spending lots of time on WoW, it could be tough to devote that time to serious study. If you don't play it, then no worries. Just be prepared to make major sacrifices of time concerning those hobbies you do have. FYI.
Either way--even I can agree that this line is certainly off-topic in this thread.

Hindsight is 20/20 but you are responsible for your actions...whether they occurred yesterday or 9 years ago. Accept responsibility for your actions and retake the classes rather than looking for ways to justify you blowing off your classes the 1st time around.
