I disagree that Nav is better than Tele Atlas for map data - what are your reasons?

One thing I like about the Magellan's is the interactive POI icons. If you tap on the POI icon on the map then you get information on that POI. The TomTom One doesn't have this.

One thing I like about the TomTom One is that you can link your volume with the speed -- so it automatically gets louder the faster you are driving. My Magellan doesn't have this.

The TomTom systems have a 'Simple Menu' function if you find them too feature rich. I have found them to be the simplest most effective portable navs I have ever used. I'm running my old Navman icn520 this week and it has nothing on the TomTom. Ugly maps, confusing directions, lack of lane designation when multi lane. The TomTom is great at stating which lane you should be in.

Still prefer built in, but that's another story!

Just got a TomTom One for my brother for Christmas. For $150, it seems to be the best bang for the buck out there. Now he can stop calling me for directions when he's lost.
