I was also reimbursed from Paypal for a similar experience of paying for an online item and then never receiving it. It took about 3 weeks to be reimbursed and the amount was around 800 dollars. My visa card also would have reimbursed me, but I went through paypal first. Supposively as long as the Paypal member is verified, they seize the money from the business bank account for nonshipment.

Paypal only does that if the other party has available funds... If they don't then you're SOL... I guess the least-case and worst-case scenario would be if GPS deposited all their paypal funds into another bank account after every transaction, leaving them with no paypal funds for paypal to reimburse the victims

<< Um.. I ordered 7 laptops from GPS.. If I don't get them.. I say we band together and destroy GPS along with that annoying hoe that you get when you call. She is so stupid and can't do a damn thing.

I bitched her out twice before she finally handed me over to a customer sales lady. She E-mailed me stating the dates of which I would receive my laptops. The first one was supposed to ship on I think the 2nd of this month.. or the 4th of this month.. and then on the 6th and then on the 9th.. It's the 14th and I haven't received a damn thing. I am calling them tomorrow and pulling marsial law on these bit*h*s. I E-Mail that terry holmes.. NOTHING... I E-Mailed the customer service back asking for tracking numbers and NOTHING. They said in their E-mail to me that if I needed anyting else to feel free E-Mailing back. Well they should of also said in the E-mail

Feel Free to E-Mail us back you sorry SOB customer. But you won't get a damn reply back.

If I receive anything from them I will let you know. I will also let you guys know of my conversation with them tomorrow. I will try to record it as well. I would like to catch them in the act and see if I can't take them to court or get them shut down.. or even sue them for personal loss and or some other BS that makes this country great.

You ordered 7???!? I really hope GPS screws you on this one. Egaying ferengis like you need to be rounded up, thrown into a large barrel and launched into the center of the sun. Argh!

ok ... lets lock this thread and forget this deal ever exsisted. It would be nice if AT could certify some deals as being good or bad. And if its clearly a scam AT should either lock them and post it to a generic thread at the top or something as a scam ...

I know that its really each person's responsibility... buy smart please

Clearly you have not been paying attention.

I have received soooo many things form deal posted here, good things I did not pay for. In fact some paid me to get them.

HP Printer
HP Laser printer
scale
monitor labeler
hp digital camera
scanner
phone(s)
over 1000 cdr's
cdrw
speakers
tivo
web cam
binoculars
t-shirts

And these are just the things that were 100% free. I won't get into the items I got at a deep discount or items that were priced so well I was able to buy 3, ebay 2 and get mine for nothing net.

It's just human nature that everyone was attracted to this laptop deal and some wanted it to be more real than others. I read enough to resist, but others have to learn their own way.

Hope it works out for everyone.

No need to insult people ass wipes. There are some people who wnated to take a shot. Myself included. I am protected my Amex so why not? If you got nothing constructive to say, please shutup. I am not too worried as I looked at this as a trip to Vegas. And I will recoup my losses with Amex at the end of this month if I don't get it. Its my choice, who are you to say anything? Sme of you are willing to argue with store manager and go through 40 price matches to get something 3 dollars cheaper. That is way more embrassing then taking a shot at this. Yes their BBB is bad but they are still around. SO that means they settled their complaints one way or the other. OR they would have been closed down!

Got Email from them, Saying it shipping yesterday. And I will get the tracking Monday. Maybe I will get this afterall. We will see. The guy told me 5-25 business days and so far, its been about 20 business days. We will see.

the guy at my work that ordered on said that it has been 50 days and no sign of anything... he said that he is going to call them and ask them what the delay is about... I'll fill you in if I hear anything. Good luck

Raised prices again!! You better get them quick before they rise again (Disclaimer: I do not endorse GPScomputers in anyway. I do not recommend purchasing from this vendor due to the large BBB complaints. I do not guarantee that you will even see anything for your hard earned money. And if you do receive a product from GPScomputers then it was all your fault.)

I swore I would never buy from these b@stards again.
My guess is that they get the money from orders, then over a period of MONTHS work out a cheap quantity purchase deal, then ship.
Meanwhile they are earning interest on holding your money. I believe using PayPal is an attempt by them to cut down on
cc disputes/cancellations.

If you can stand to wait 3-7 months, you might get your stuff.

As I posted earlier no matter what credit card you use you can call them and challange on the grounds of non-delivery. Pay Pal is very mis-leading below, because I contacted them first, they told me after 30 days I was SOL.

I was also shut out of my computer from GPS. I have been waiting about 60 business days. I called and they said it would be another 30 business days. So I contacted my lawyer, (free of charge of course) and he is currently processing paperwork for litigation.

Ohio laws give a business 40 business days to deliver goods. If not delivered in that time and no response, legal action is granted. I guess I am a fighter when it comes to these matters.

So I will fight till they give in and send me the computer, or till the court orders them too. Good think I only live one hour away for court apperances and in the same state. That makes things MUCH easier for me.

Wondering if anyone has the same problem.
