GPU (driver?) 'dissapeared' suddenly

Hi everyone ! I'm running a gt 630 for 1 year already. Today, i encountered some freezes in some games and i tought CPU was running at lower frequencies so i disabled any energy saving feature and locked the frequency to 200 and locked the multiplier to 13 [ DEFAULT VALUES ] . After saving changes and restarting i realised my gpu drivers [ literally the gpu ] vanished.

I TRIED Uninstalling the driver i had with Display driver uninstaller and install the latest driver from nvidia.
IM sure i didn't change anything else in bios before you'll say that.

Maybe a defect card.

What does it saa in device manager when you do properties on the card?

And when you install drivers, try select a clean install.

Yeah, it could be defective.
Follow these steps:

• Shutdown and unplug your cord from the PSU.
• Check and see if the card is properly seated in the PCI express port. If not, reseat it.
• Check for dust. If it is dusty, used compressed air to clean it.
• Plug your cord back into the PSU and boot up.
• Problem fixed? If not, continue:
• Uninstall your GPU drivers via original disk.
• Reinstall your GPU drivers via original disk. (Ensure you are installing the proper drivers in correspondence with your OS)
• Ensure you have the latest GPU drivers
• Problem fixed? If not, continue:
• BUY A BETTER GPU THAN A GT 630! ^_^

Or... test on other motherboard, seems that the MoBo is the problem.

The seating? Good that you got it working again

Remember to lock the PCIe slot clamp if you got any so it should stay in place.

Well, it happened again, and i'm sure it will happen everytime i try to lock the cpu multiplier clock OR turn off amd cool & quiet feature. This happens most likely since i have upgraded to x64. Is there anything i can do ? I mean that cool & quiet feature makes my cpu to work under frequency all the time, it may work at 800mhz as well ( even if i am playing a game ) and this causes freezes.
The specs are the following ( if it counts in any way ) : amd athlon ii x4 620, nvidia gt 630 2gb, 3gb ram 533, 450w PSU(a poor one), gigabyte ma-61p-s3 motherboard.

This is happening @ 0% cpu usage, and i can't take a photo while playing bcs i'd have to alt-tab and then my cpu usage will get to 0% and ofc it will be the same BUT i am sure that's what happening these freezes in my games.

I doubt that the processor energy saving feature is causing freezing problems. Can you run something in a window so that you can also see CoreTemp running and monitor the CPU?

You may be right, but i remember having the same problem while running win7 x32 and that solved it. I can see while in window mode that the cpu frequency doesn't change at all from 2600, BUT i also doesn't experience any freezes anymore[while windowed].
