Yep, I've got 2 End of Summer Rigs that I want to build, as I haven't been in the gaming desktop scene in years (never had the money for a good gaming rig until these past couple of years). I'm actually trying to move
out of console into the PC Market.
But I'm not going to spend
90% more (!) to get the same performance now I could have just 3 months ago. Especially since I need to buy 2 of them. So for now, I continue to be a console gamer. If this is the "new deal", then I'm not even sure I want to come back to PC Gaming when comparing what a high end console can do vs. a PC in the same price bracket (alongside the "no-hassle" aspect).
PC Gaming to average joe is a really hard sell right now when decent "console level" GPU experiences cost more for just the GPU than the whole console.
