OP probably is waiting for one to jump on but is lamenting that prices are rising while he waits.
Yes. For the 760 my point is that the introduction saw a few deals to be had for a couple weeks. They may have been short lived but they did exist.
And I've never seen a single rebate on a GTX 760, nor would I expect one given they were released at such a good price.
Old cards are rarely discounted much. GTX 560 Ti's are still $200.
But prices have never been lower than they are now. So it is just you.

Agreed that we can get great cards for low $$$. The 760 is a great case in point. This is the first card in a couple years that I've recognized as top notch offering with a great starting price. In reviewing it, I typically benchmark its performance per $$ against some other cards. That is when i noticed, that during the last two weeks, the 760 has increased in price.
Other card prices have increased as well. It is stealthy in the case of reduced bundles, fewer discount codes, higher shipping costs, and fewer rebates. It adds up, to me anyways, as a perceptible increase in cost.
