hi i'm looking to buy and uprade my pc im looking to replace the GPU,PSU, and the ram ok so currently i have motherboard : ASRock G41M-VS3,GPU : geforce 720,ram 4gb DDR3,cpu: CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400, 2666 MHz (8 x 333), windows 10 64 bit , i think my psu its like 240-300 wats,BIOS Type : AMI

ok so basically i want 8gb's of ram and a 4gb gpu and a power supply that can support them both my budget is 300 euros (341.09100 USD) and i live in bulgaria thank you in advance also a random question does DDR matter when u put lets say a DDR5 video card in my mother board like is it gonna work or what? anyway thanks in advance again

Don't waste your money, the board is outdated. As long as it i running, save and build new.

The type of memory (DDR3, GDDR5, are popular types, with newest NVidia cards coming with GDDR6) used in video cards, does not depend on the type of RAM used by the CPU / chipset / platform that you plug it into. All that matters, really, is that you have a compatible PCI-E slot, and drivers for the OS that you want to use it with.

Also, your system is, unfortunately, so old, that it's probably not worth upgrading much. Although, if your board takes DDR3 sticks, you could replace the 4GB of DDR3, with 2x4GB DDR3. If you have a single existing 4GB DDR3 stick in there, then you could try adding another, of a similar/same vintage and specifications.

Newer DDR3 might not work in your board, though. Have to see.

I would try getting some GSKill Ripjaws memory, DDR3-1333 2x4GB myself, if I were going to buy RAM new for that rig. If you buy 1333 DDR3 RAM, you are more likely to get RAM of the vintage necessary to work with that older system, and it can't really take advantage of DDR3-1600 anyways.

Also, it's not very cost-effective, but you could get a GTX 1050 ti 4GB card, that's about as high as I would go for that rig. Or maybe a GTX 1060 3GB, with that caveat that a faster CPU / mobo / RAM, would be able to extract more gaming performance out of a GTX 1060 3GB card. You would be leaving GPU performance on the table, until you upgraded CPU platform.

Hmm, how is the used market there?

Perhaps a used but decent workstation would do well for the budget, combined with selling the old stuff. I know prices can vary drastically.
