i just got the beta drivers 76.44 and now my gpu temp bug is fixed. my card was fine all along, even though it said 77.

yeah, i might try those. the 71.84's bug didn't really affect my 6800 gt agp temps but since going to a pci-e 6800gt i idle from 52 to 62 and load 74-84 with no rhyme or reason. i booted this morning and idle was 58, after using the card most of the day i had a restart and the idle was 53. anyway, i'll be interested to see a better read.
