Well, i ended up with a 3.33gpa........which isn't BAD....better than i averaged all through HS....
Math 105 - A
Spanish 1 - A
English 1A - C

My first quarter, last year, was bad. I think I got a 3.0 gpa. This quarter wasn't too bad, 3.7 in econ, 3.0 in TC 231, 3.0 in math 307, and 2.9 in phys 123. In high school anything less than 4.0 was not good, now anything better than a 3.0 is good.

had a 4.0 quarter

4.0 in math 390, 4.0 in cse 321

before college... anything less than perfect was not good. first couple years of college... anything above 3.0 was good. now, anything above 3.5 is good.

after being at community college for 3 years and being so used to the semester system, my first quarter at UC Davis wasn't so hot. GPA at about 2.5 bleh. Hopefully i can pick it up next quarter now that i have a feel for how fast things go. Damn i miss semesters.

Comes out to 3.675, for a 3.632 cumulative GPA.

I had a great first term of the winter semester in terms of grades. I got an 85% average (A, in my school) but my semester average will drop quite a bit at the end of the year because I keep screwing up PSYC 100 (which runs Sept-Apr so I don't get a grade until April) exams.

I'm gonna end up with 30 credits of A-/A/A+ courses along with the lovely C+/B in PSYC. I thought that I could've pulled a higher grade in elementary psyc, but I guess I was wrong. But then it is not as bad since the Psychology department tries to cram the majority of the students in the 60~67% range as a policy. So I am among the average students.

 

I got a 3.8:

Dutch 112: A-
Sociology 110: A-
English 125: A

It's gonna be harder next semester, though.

4.0 this semester, woohoo! First time I got one in college that involved more than 9 hours (I took 15). Next semester I am taking 17, will see if the streak continues.

I got a 3.83, out of 18 credit hours (3.77 AA GPA, 3.83 term...I really dislike prep courses)

Elementary Algebra (that's what I get for doing no math for a few years..actually found mistakes on the tests..lol..) - A
ENC1101 College Composition - A
POS2112 (I think..may be 2012) - State/Local Government (by far the hardest course here..I hear St/Local isn't typically hard, but this guy was) - B
PSY2012 (I think..may be 2112) - General Psych - A (easy)
MUT1001 - Music Fundamentals - A (easy)
The Gainesville Community Band can be taken as a one credit-hour course, so I did..another A.

Five As, one B...I wasn't too upset I think my grandfather was a bit suprised, as I was homeschooled. He was always saying how we weren't doing enough schoolwork, etc..

I blew the physics final (79), that would have been an A or A- otherwise. I just plain sucked during the lab...

How do you guys get a 3.8 if you've got all A's?!! How does the + - system work with grades? I've never used it before....


and no, i type most of my essays in the 30 minutes before class

So it's the normal letter grade GPA, then you add the 1/3 points where appropriate?

Phys 1 lab- A- (weird results with physics)

GPA- 3.20

B = 3.00
