You have similar clips of conservatives screaming outside the Supreme Court doors, trying to claw their way in over Garland's nomination?

No, they just knowingly abdicated their legally required duties to make sure a moderate wouldn't get in. You know, they just betrayed American values, like you do every day.

So elected officials played games (just as they did with Kavanaugh) not people storming the Supreme Court throwing a tantrum. Two different things. No conservatives tried to break down the doors of the Supreme Court, right?

That doesn't make it any more acceptable. Also, at last check Merrick Garland wasn't facing allegations of sexual assault, nor was he being chosen in hopes of setting back women's rights by 50 years.

You said it yourself...with Reid changing the rules (60 to majority) to stack federal judges. McConnell, as his perogative, chose to wait and let the new president make his choice to fill the position...that choice was within his role as leader of the senate. Obama was on his last leg.

Fake news. Turtle wasn't allowing any federal judges through so he had no choice. If Clinton was elected Turtle would come up with some excuse to not confirm any of her judges either. Remember his "proudest moment"?

They keep going on about the popular vote, congrats to them on winning a contest that doesn't mean anything. I love the electoral college, we are a nation of states with individual laws and cultures to an extent. The only reason Clinton got the popular vote was because very blue state CA voted very blue. The electoral college has meaning and exists to buffer these things. Trump won fair and square, end of story. Now the left creates imaginary boogiemen to try and protect their bubble, they were SO sure Hillary was going to win in a landslide. They can't come to terms with the reality that Hilary was simply a bad candidate and Trump ran a great campaign. It was non-traditional, but a great campaign.
By non-traditional you mean racist and hate filled. Nice to see the country progressing /s

No, there wasn't racism or hate, but the left manufactured those pieces where it was needed to fit their narrative.

"A total ban on Muslim immigration" isn't bigoted? He literally wanted to violate the basic concept of freedom of religion.

To clarify, it wasn't just a total ban on Muslim immigration, it was to be a total ban on all Muslims entering the country period. So even natural born American citizens would have been banned from re-entry.

Once again, the party of personal responsibility refuses to take personal responsibility.

“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”

Hmm then I guess Trump was just being informative when he claimed most immigrants from Mexico are rapists and murderers.

I guess Trump was just being informative then he claimed a judge was incapable of doing his job because he is Mexican.

Wow, some fringe groups support Trump. A BLM sympathizer shot and killed five white cops in Dallas just a few years ago too. That doesn't mean the entire left is hate filled and bigoted against white people. Same with the right, just because some fringe groups side with Trump / Republicans, that doesn't mean that is what the right platform is about, and it certainly isn't.

Trump banned people from seven problem countries coming to America. I understand the left wants anti-LGBT conservative religous types to come to America unvetted from countries that are known to have strong anti-American terrorist groups, but not wanting that isn't hate. That is pumping the brakes on a potential problem so it can be addressed. The left manufactures the racism. Islam is a choice.

He was talking about illegal immigrants, but the lefties will lie and distort as you just did. Nice job, you didn't let me down.

The left thinks people cannot be xyz all the time. Again, the left started that trend. Lefties just cancelled a women's march as an example, because it was "too white."

Except the one where all the 9/11 hijackers came from and who's leaders dismember journalists alive.

Any evidence most illegal immigrants are rapists and murderers? Sounds like the demonization of brown people.

Also I didn't know Mexicans were incapable of being judges. Sounds like more demonization of brown people.

At least Trump found something he is good at.

Funny then that Trump went out of his way to appeal to the "very fine people" in those "fringe groups."

You're not fooling anyone, Slow.

And hey, let's not forget the Gold Star family that Trump disrespected because of their religious beliefs.

Ginsberg is recovering and able to telecommute so her attending Court isn't an issue which no doubt frustrates a good many.

Trump can only put off his end as long as the shutdown goes but the further that happens the Republicans impacted will start to turn on Trump and his supporters in office. No matter what Trump and the Reps come out losers, it's just a matter of how much damage they accomplish.

But by peaceful means or not the shutdown will end and then Donnie will be investigated to the point where he will think of Mueller as the good old days.

I should think the NYT revelations will be of particular interests and interpreters subpoenaed and nothing can be done to stop that as Trump says the meetings were open so anyone could listen.

I can't know but with all that is happening, criminal charges may be coming before Independence Day.

He's irrelevant as his points are pointless. Treason is on the table now and we get something about Dems in Puerto Rico, part of the US and no partying had. Or BLM being terrorists because someone attacked police who wasn't involved in the BLM but was "sympathetic".

By that standard people in office might as well be in supermax.

Conservatives stormed the US Capital when the ACA was about to pass and spit on black Congressman. Pick your poison

Title speaks for itself...Dem's brought it on themselves when they changed the rules. Didn't expect Hillary to lose now they will reap what the sowed. Putting a conservative on the court will have consequences for so many things...what goes around comes around

No good will come of politicizing the Supreme Court. The republicans need to step away from this. They screwed Obama out of a nomination that was rightfully his to make, now they're clustering around RBG like vultures. It's wrong. It isn't how the nation should be governed, and in the long run, it's going to bite us on the ass.

with trump in office do you really need to ask that? she wont retire as long as trump holds the oval office, if she can she'll wait until a dem is elected.

That has nothing to do with Graham hoping for her death. That would be her personal choice which I am all for if that is what she chooses.

So yes I do have to ask. I do not think Graham is wishing for her to die.
