he has to know this has no chance of passing, especially in senate. and if it by some chance it does it will never overcome a veto.

Maybe Graham could clue the rest of us into exactly what Mexico has done to us to justify military action. Let's just annex all of Mexico and Central America. We'll install a Great Wall at the border of Panama and Columbia to keep out all the fentanyl carrying immigrants from South America along with the rapists, murderers, etc. With all of this now being part of the USA there will be no point in anyone wanting to cross the Rio Grande. Of course we can still have fricking lasers for those that do attempt to cross over. And as new US citizens we will be collecting taxes if you want to continue to live in our country. By having such a smaller border to defend our RISK of invasion will be much lower. And of course our new citizens will be required to work or leave. No freeloaders allowed. While this is intended to be a parody I'm actually surprised that the Republican Party has not already thought of doing this.

US govt told citizens not to go into that town. They did anyway and something bad happened.

Not exactly a justification to declare war on Mexico. We didn't even attack Saudi Arabia after 9/11 and that was justified.

Tell Lindsay to stick a tampon in it.

Four Americans were kidnapped and two were killed by gunmen this week. Therefore a full military invasion is justified. I want to see tanks blasting holes in the border wall and crossing the Rio Grande. I want to see helicopters kicking up dust in the Sonoran. I want to see LCU boats running up on the beaches of Cancun and Cozumel. Send it all!!!

OR…we could just send in the FBI and tactical support like we usually do.

Maybe we can fix our healthcare system so our people don’t have to get treatments in some Mexican shithole town.

Such a pacification war in Mexico would last longer than Afghanistan, cost more American lives and end the same.

II Miss G. really wants to weaken the cartels, sponsor some bills to take effective steps in the US to reduce the demand for illegal drugs. The cartels exist because of US money.

Funny how Pubs want to get into a fighting war with the Dems in power, but boast how Trump supposedly didn't start any wars. Love to be belligerent, after all, it's what real men do.

But but but if we go to war with Mexico, where will Ted Cruise run whenever it snows?

Maybe if AmeriKKKa didn't have a high demand for illegal drugs. The cartels are supplying a product that Americans want.

Conservatives like having an environment where illegal drug use is rife and they also like going to war. The overall strategy may as well be called Operation Fuck Poor People.

This is about Fentanyl and physically stopping the cartels that are delivering up to 379 million lethal doses annually.
Seems there are roughly 100k overdose deaths annually.
And 80% of that is attributed to Fentanyl.

It could be argued that Mexico's cartels are providing a literal deadly poison that is killing 80,000 Americans every year.
That's a lot of soldiers we could lose every year and still come out ahead.

Something should probably be done, not sure it's that, but something. It's worth discussing the causes and solutions to those deaths from a deadly chemical.
