Grand Theft Auto 4 Wishlist !

this may be a wee bit late but what would you like to see added to the next installment due late this year.

me:

(a)new and better means of transport, ofcourse:
- a monster truck
- motorcyle
- glider, airplane or jetpack
- couple more exotics (maserati-type coupe or a bentley)
- electric scooter

(b) natural environment:
- attack dogs !
- snow, lightning storms, monsoons; in general, more violent weather (or at least the option do
make mother nature angrier).
- how about something surreal like a locust swarm !
- put huge prehistoric sharks in the bay.

(c) general improvements:
- open up the stadium
- make more buildings accesible; create mutliple levels within buildings; open, shut and peak behind
doors ala metal gear solid; hang off buildings, off the side of railroad platforms, etc.
- allow and reward stealth.
- our guy should be better able to jump from a moving vehicle no matter how fast its going !

I'd like a smoother jumping system. That little shimmy he does when you're too close to a wall is pretty annoying. And I'd like better movement controls while in buildings or garages.

AMEN!! I loved flying down a straightaway at breakneck speeds and slamming into a wall. THat was fun!

Oh, and you guys should keep an eye out for The Getaway coming out soon for PS2. That game will be freaking amazing.

a multiplayer not just where everybody is some low scum car thief but where its a world of crime with the everquest theme. you can "level" up to crime bosses etc etc and be in charge of different clans. this would require more than one general city with 3 islands methinks. probably an entire state.

i bought it too. $30 at frys. oh yeah! anyways, i hardly play the game. barely beat the mission where you had to equip some guys car with a bomb. i'm way into music games right now.

I'd like to see ever building be enterable. Why should I just drive around the mobsters to rob a bank when I can do it myself? I'd also like to be able to choose between first person and third person, as I'm a much bigger fan of first person games than third. (Max Payne is the notable exception) A large scale, living multiplayer world would be cool too.

Multiplayer - not only deathmatch but co-op (e.g. one person robs the bank while the other is a getaway driver)
Better drive-by aiming, preferably with the mouse
Some sort of plant-able explosive as a new weapon

When you are in first person while driving, you should be able to see the steering wheel and dashboard.

Btw, the idea of an MMORPG type game wehre you climb up a ladder, get to set missions for lower level players etc, is intriguing.
