Grandpa got run over by a reindeer

Yesterday afternoon my Grandpa was riding his bike in the neighborhood by his house and a car ran into him while he was crossing a driveway. So he gets knocked off of his bike, and the car just takes off, leaving him lying in the driveway for 10 minutes before someone across the street saw him lying there and came over to help him. He's got a broken hip.

In all seriousness, hopefully he recovers ok. A broken hip is pretty major. It's terrible how people can do this and get away with it.

Assuming the OP is true, then why not offer a $1000 reward for information that leads to the discovery of the hit and run driver? Your grandfather will easily get that back and a lot more in the lawsuit.

I'm not a fan of frivolous lawsuits - but anyone involved in a hit and run that leads to bodily injury - take 'em for all they're worth.

I got hit on my bike when I was about 19. I was rehabing a knee after surgery. I jumped up ready to pull someone out of the car and beat their ass. It was some old 90 year old man staring straight ahead like he didn't see anything.
There was no ass beating that day.
