Grants for IT Cert training.

I'll be wrapping up my Bachelors of EE this fall and have been working as a junior network admin since obtaining my CCNA a while ago. My local CC recently started a program that provides instructor lead trainig for the CCNP exam. Only problem is the cost which is $5000. Since I don't really have $5000 lying around since I've paid for school this semester, does anyone know if there are any programs that would pay upfront or offer grants for the cost? Thanks.

Check out your local unemployment office.... assuming you dont have a job.

When the company i worked for went bankrupt, the local unemployment office paid for MCSE and CCNA training for a number of my coworkers...
Granted it was at a training school that the unemployment office chooses... but.. beggers cant be choosers.

Fortunately I am employed, I'll be looking to move more into RF Engineering after graduation but I want a better understanding of building WAN's, etc...Just need more networking knowledge. Just also received my CWNA.
