OK, I made an early buy - Nov 2015, maybe I'll want to put together this PC soon, caught up in black friday pricing, decided to get an R9 390 8GB card for $320 ($340 after rebate was rejected for no good reason).
Still haven't built it.
So now, with Pascal out, and seeing the scary warnings about things like 'if you want to use 4k' (I might at some point) or 'if you want to use VR' (I might at some point) you need a really good card.
Makes me consider: should I buy something like this:
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition GV-N1070D5-8GD-B $380 for two more hours.
Should I get a card like that and sell the 390 for whatever it's worth? Use the 390 and upgrade later?
Main reason to upgrade now, is to save the further price drop when it's a used card.
