I can't PM you because you don't have them enabled. But damn nice job you did

Thanks, mainly all I did was fool around with greasemonkey tutorial code though and managed to get it working . My pm's should be on, they were working earlier today and I haven't changed anything.

I updated the category over buddy script to fix a bug, also added a couple more scripts

Alternating row colors for thread list
Reduce wasted space in thread/post windows

OMG, this is so much better. Why didn't they make it like this in the first place?!

Thanks hg403 and Evadman. Also Cristatus for waving the flag

All of these issues should still be dealt with properly by FuseTalk though.
definitely, all that wasted space is ridiculous.

can a >> last page button be scripted in?

I made a script!

Eliminate the truncation...

Prettier Kill Truncation <-- I recommend this one, especially if you use the "Shrink left navigation pane and icons" script
^I re-wrote some of the forum names on the left side so that they would still be one line. I like this one better.

Note: how much the text wraps depends a little on your screen resolution and on if you have the "Shrink left navigation pane and icons" script installed or not too.
Note #2: I have to give some credit to evadman, I based my script off of his Fusetalk Hide Smilies script.

Very nice. I was in the middle of doing the exact same thing and you beat me to it. Awesome!

Cristatus, keep the first post up to date with all the scripts. Now THIS is how a community works! AT users for the win! together we can win over annoyances!!

You forgot P&N. I fixed it by adding this:

Haha, my bad, I have P&N hidden - too many accidental clicks on it instead of OT :Q

Fixed them both now.

I knew someone would do this eventually, thanks for doing what FT should have done originally before releasing this!

If only this loaded first instead of loading AT's normal crap first, then taking 5 seconds more to refresh and have these modifications

Also if the other themes worked I'd be much happier, grass green is the only tolerable one.

Haha I like how AT'ers took not even 2 days to fix this alpha release of FT

If I have the time, I'll dabble with trying to fix the themes with greasemonkey. However, I still can't figure out why my My forums link goes to your latest posts script kills the Quick Reply button.

Thanks MB!!!!

I've only used GM once or twice in the past, I wish there was a way to force it to load them first before rendering AT.. AT is running slow as sh!t compared to how it used to and it's not my connection since every other website loads fine.. it takes like 10 seconds from refresh to the point where the scripts kick in.. minor gripe I guess, nature of the beast.

I updated the cosmetic scripts to work in opera, but haven't been able to get the 'categories over buddies' or the alternating thread row colors scripts to work. I'll look into it and see if I can fix it.

Replaces default theme with grey - I made this yesterday for myself.. should be easy enough to change for different colors/fonts.

Edit: Pic of the color changes

Hmm, what are your computer specs? They load instantly on my desktop and there is only a minuscule delay on my laptop, but I guess having a Core 2 Duo and 2GB RAM on both might help. That's with 10 extensions and 7 GM scripts installed, too.

Also, don't thank me just yet I just barely know the basics of javascript and css, so fixing the themes won't be easy, if possible for me.

It's more like 'waiting for forums.anandtech.com...' in the browser window than an issue of my computer specs.. it waits for the page to completely load before applying them

Hey, at least you're LOOKING at it, that's way more than I can say for the FT staff.
