Just passing on some knowledge i got about a great deal.
I saw a deal for a p1110 21 inch monitor at dfsdirect.com(canadian dell off lease equipment). It was listed in (Hard)forums in the hot deals section. Anyway, i missed the deal the first time it came up and was hesitant to get a off lease product. But hey for 300 bucks canadian (200)u.s i decided to get one the next time they were at the site. All i can say is wow what a awesome deal. This thing is awesome. So clear its amazing and 21 big inches.
The monitor sells for 1200 bucks canadian anywhere i have seen, and i expected this one to be older. I was Wrong it came basically brand new, not a scratch on it. Manufacture date of 2001, so its real new. This thing is made by sony(trinitron), and is sonys top of the line 21incher . If you see these things at dfs direct buy one immediately, they usually only last about a day. When i got mine they had 82 of em and the next day they were gone. I talked to other hard members who also got this monitor from dfs and they all said they also got brand new ones that were perfect. Anyway im sorry for ranting but if you get a chance get one as soon as you can.
By the way i previously had a 6 month old nec950+ 19 incher so i know what quality is. Sold that nec as soon as i saw this ah heck in action. Hope someone else gets in on this deal next time cause if it were not for this forum and all the great members i never wuldve got in on such a great deal.
P.s- Dont buy the d model that is listed there wait for the p1110 the d model is not a perfect flat the p1110 is perfectflat sony, just keep checking the site i think they got a bunch back from nortel when they got hit hard so they keep coming up every once in a while.
