Actually, I paid $224 for my 400sc! There was a deal for $189 earlier in the year though...

There is a difference between a High School Graduate and a College Graduate ... read the specs dear ... you are comparing a junk box of $249.00 which can probably be a one user server with a P4, 1GB RAM, 800 FSB server... please show me a lower priced server with these specs if you have one ...

The only difference in your $896 400SC computer and the $224 400SC computer is:
1. 128MB DDR, 400MHz vs 1 GB DDR, 400MHz
2. CD-ROM vs CDRW/DVD

So if you want to pay $672 for RAM and a CD-RW/DVD drive. . . be our guest!

This deal is so cold i just got frostbite!

About 2 months ago i got this same 400SC but with 128 megs of ram for 350 shipped & AR here .

Last time i looked 1 gig of ram was not worth 600 bucks. Newegg has Kingston HyperX 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3500 for $109......

Dude .. why you are not looking at the 800FSB and the "ECC" RAM ... it's not a non-ECC RAM. Go and look the the prices of ECC RAM ... you'll be surprised.

in the other deal, some one mention that the 400SC server doesn't need ECC-REG to run, I mean yes you can put ECC-REG, but tey say that regular memory will do it. So if you don't really need the 400SC as a server, then this deal is cold. In the other hand, if you really are going to use this as a server, then I guess is not that bad. But also, I though that for a really good server, it will better to have other options instead ot of an IDE drive.

I missed the HOT deal, but I got in on the decent deal.

For $431 shipped I got:
P4 2.4ghz 800mhz fsb, 128 ddr (I can use ECC if I want), cd-rom.

The difference between mine and your deal is about 200 bucks. Not $468. And I didn't get the hot deal even.

I wouldn't fight it, its not like anyone here is going to bash a deal when they benefit from it.
