If you read my original post I was out by a factor of 1000! Oops hehe. The site where I pulled the GDP data from for that post was all messed up.

Finlands total contribution is about 8m currently, but thats not all cash. Cities and ond governement also gave up new years celebrations and fireworks, and all that money was directed to helping the victims. People in a LOT of companies have also agreed to work free for 1 day in January, and all that money will be donated by companies to aid...
