Dude, WTF is this thing? I found this stuck to the bottom of a piece of chicken at the dining hall today.

It looks like a giant hydra or a miniature rocket ship. The square pattern on the bottom bewilders me as you usually don't see squares in nature. I was thinking maybe it's a stem or something? Regardless, it was a bit creepy.

yeah, my camera doesn't do macro too well. If I get any closer it gets all fuzzy.

there is a function in picasa called 'crop.' i suggest you utilize it

haha, I only took those at 2MP, thought that would be a decent size... It shows up perfectly on my monitor
