I fail to see how the stripping experience or waxing would help with the job, personally.

when I was job searching on craigslist a month ago I would see hundreds of these stupid ads. finally found a computer repair shop that wasn't asking for outlandish requirements.

Well it may help you increase your tips, particularly the stripping. Getting a couple extra dolla' bills stuffed into the old utility belt never hurts.

That's less than the minimum wage is here in Quebec, Canada ($8.50/hr). The cost of living might be different though.
