Megatoners is great if your looking for ink carts for your Epson or Canon printer, ink for my Canon I450 costs $.89 and $1.15 and for my Epson 785EPX is $2.12 and $2.55 shipping is $4.75 or if you spend $49 it's free.

Ressellerratings are <5 for 6 months and >5 lifetime.

I have used Monsterinkjets but due to recent reviews I have switched to Megatoners.

My last order from Megatoners took 3-4 days to arrive. I know a lot of people here know about Megatoners and I think it has been posted in the hot deals but I think it's been some time so I thought I would mention them again.

thanks, but this is like posting a link to resellerratings... old news.
You'd be surprised how many people don't know about megatoners. The ink isn't great quality, but for day to day printing, it sure works great in my FAR Epson printer. I've got an HP Photo printer and I don't skimp on the ink for that, but again, it wasn't FAR

I also like the fact that megatoners doesn't advertise via spam like some other inkjet places.

I have used Magetoners as well and like their prices. I had some problems with printing but found that the problem was the low quality paper, not the megatoner ink.

Worth a try anyway and see if it works for you. If if doesn't, you haven't lost much $.

Isn't there some place called "USA..." something or other that made the best generic inks out there? I need to get some for my Canon, but I want decent print quantity and quality for photos. Not necessarily production quality, but not poor either.

Edit: Ran a search, TylerMartin is the guy. He apparently has it cheaper on FleaBay cheaper than on his own website (?). Anyone have a comparison?

I think it's usainkjets through ebay, they sell "USA" brand ink.

I looked at Tylermartins website and I see that they carry "Rainbow" brand and I really liked their ink when I bought it through MJ's.

I now mainly use my printer for printing things off the internet and papers so quality isn't too big of an issue, when I have my pics printed I use winkflash and snapfish, I can't print pics for $.08.

Kinda a toss up. I ordered 18 replacements for my photo printer and all is good. A friend I know ordered a set for her printer and after installing them and using them for about a week the head became clogged and eventually unusable.

Works for me though!

They are the cheapest but I don't think that the quality is on par with Tylermartin.

If you are planning to print photos this isn't the best ink, but for web pages and papers this is the site.

Works for me though!

As for clogging, a word of warning: I had an epson c60 that I used megatoners ink for, and after a few weeks I noticed the printing quality had dramatically decreased. I eventually couldn't even use the printer due to the clogged printer head. Since the printer was basically FAR, it didn't matter, and my friend's old epson (don't remember what model) still works fine after 3-4 years of nothing but megatoner's ink. I'm about to use more megatoners in my new canon i560, so I'm thinking (hoping) my last experience was a fluke-just a heads up.

My last post may have sounded like a thread crap-it wasn't supposed to be. I have yet to find a cheaper place to buy ink than megatoners, and I will likely continue to buy ink from them, as long as my new printer doesn't quit working Ink for my i560 was around 1.30 for black and the same for each color (3 separate tanks), so approx. 6 bucks for an entire ink change beats the alternative (around 40 bux).

Epsons are prone to clogging, I hope you canon lives longer.

Anyplace have cheap lexmark ink? The ink for those trashboxes cost way more than the printer themselves, and it's not like putting bad ink into a lexmark is going to hurt the quality.

Before you buy from Megatoners, read this thread from fatwallet.

http://www.fatwallet.com/t/18/427398

Some people have had problems with that brand.

I use InkDaddy refills for my R200, and have been very happy so far. I just ordered my 2nd set of refills.

**EDIT**
Better link here

Based on your posting I ordered a dozen ink carts. from megatoners. I would like to state that they are the worst carts. I have ever received from one of these merchants and the customer service sucks. Two of the carts did not work at all and their customer service told me to do things like run water over them (which did not work). I informed them that I expected things to work when I received them and did not think that I would have to work on their products upon receipt. They did not even respond to this. I am done with them and will mention this on any thread when I see this company mentioned. Buyer beware!!!!!!!

Anyone else's printouts using ink from megatoners smell like Windex? I couldn't help but notice that after printing some of my papers. I'm using a Epson 880.

I had problems with megatoners 1-2yrs ago, at the time people were praising them obviously from the ratings the quality of both the carts and the service has gone done drastically.

Antoneo, I'm also using an Epson 880, but cannot detect the Windex smell. Been using Megatoners (green boxes NE-0T020 C.M.Y) for +/- 3 years, not a problem. I don't do pictures with it, however. I check & clean once every month or 2 - never a clog.

See no reason to change yet, and pricing is fantastic!

Hello,

I am in the ink business myself. Yes you are right that MegaToners is probably the cheapest source you can possibly find. The reason why they can sell for so cheap is they are using the G&G brand ink made in China.

It's true that USA made ink is naturally better in terms of quality. Price wise, it's slightly more expensive but still a GREAT deal less than the genuine cartridges.

I sell some very high quality USA ink at very reasonable prices. If you'd like to know how they are made in comparison to the Chinese ink, scroll down to "our-compatible ink" at the bottom: http://www.swiftink.com/about.php

Many sites are selling the chinese ink for the same price I sell the USA-made ink. However, the USA made ink is much much better, and forumlated by a P.h.D. chemist which works on site.
