How much is the shipping? I didn't want to add the stuff to the cart to see, I guess I'm lazy.

Yeah, It costed me $20 shipping for 3network cards, 5 7ft network cables, Volcano5 1.5ghz+ SocketA hsf, and 300watt PSU, at a total of $66. Wasn't a bad deal overall.

Looking to load up on DDR Ram?
This seemed to be great source

Runtime Computer Corporation
Checked up at Resellerratings.com
and 5.3 out of 7 with 17 votes
Only 2 Negatives from some hillbilly who hadn't yet achieved the feat
of typing 2 words in a row without a mistake
The beauty of this site for a penny pincher like myself is they
offer $8.80 shipping for "ANY QUANTITY ANYWHERE" I suspect they
really don't mean anywhere because their order form only includes
American states. But if you are ordering more than a couple of
sticks this seems like a great site.
Thanks for all the deals. I love youse guys!!!!!!!!!

cl2 is supposedly faster than cl3, but I don't see the difference. I mix and match that all the time. I just make sure that I use the same brand name (Micron/Crucial are interchangeable). Btw, Runtimecc is a good company, I've ordered from them in the past. Delivery is prompt and speedy, in case you wanted to know.

Umm... if you mix and match the RAM, it all runs at the slower speed , i.e. CAS3 .. That's why it doesn't seem any faster to have CAS2 .... *sigh*

<< Whats the difference between cl2 and cl3 ram? >>

From Crucial's web site:
CL2 parts process data a little quicker than CL3 parts in that you have to wait one less clock cycle for the initial data. However, after the first piece of data is processed, the rest of the data is processed at equal speeds. Latency only affects the initial burst of data. Once data starts flowing, there is no effect.

Not necessarily true, most motherboards allow you to change the CAS settings in the bios. Most people don't have problems running their CAS3 RAMs at CAS2.

I was going to order from the Crucial website, 2 - 256M (PC2100), but I would of been hit with both shipping ($5.50) and tax. Apparently if Crucial has any presence in the state you live they have to tax the product they send. Huh, i guess rules is rules! And that's all I have to say about that!

CAS = Column Access Strobe
In simple terms it is the number of clock cycles your system takes to read a memory address. If you mix CAS2 ram with CAS3 ram, your system will default to CAS3. You may be able to over-ride this in your BIOS. But be fore warned that this is essentially overclocking your ram, sometimes it works and you gain a little (5-10%) system speed, sometimes it doesn't and you gain an unstable system.
