I've lived in/near Seattle all my life, and it's always been "pop" around here with everybody I knew. I've heard before that the term pop is a west-coast thing, but apparently that's not true from what people are saying in here.

Crank...odd that every cola product was "Coke" and every clear one was "7-up". 7-up is a pepsi product...heh.

Too bad this deal isn't for Coca-cola products though...I try not to drink caffeine, and Sprite/7-up are about the only mainstream drinks that aren't caffeinated. 7-up is gross though.

If I order today and a local OD has my pop in stock when are they most likely to deliver?

Soda here in NYC. But in Cleveland where my cousins are, they call it POP. Weird stuff.

Might pick up some myself. Nice deal

I'm in michigan (ann arbor area). There is an OD in Ann Arbor, but I cannot get the site to say I get the free shipping. I can get the coupon to work OK. I got the total over $50, but it still says shipping charges apply. I tried entering my work address (I work in Ann Arbor) and still has shipping charges. THis would be a good deal for me If someone can help me figure out how to get the free shipping.

<< Living in California and paying the stupid CSV (tax on soda, bottled water, etc.), I've never figured out how to get this money back. You can recycle from your house (and get nothing), and I've seen recycling centers advertised which pay a buck a pound or something for aluminum cans, but how do you get back the deposit? Can anyone help a clueless Californian? Thanks. >>

newtopos:

check your local Albertson's or Safaway or Raley's or whatever. u get the point. @ the entrance, they post the nearest local recycling location that gives you $ back for CSV (or is it CRV?). And in my case I think there's only one within 3-5 miles. sucks. Where I'm from originally, i.e. Quebec, Canada, you can return cans + bottles at almost every supermarket + convenience store (a la 7/11).

is it me? or does no one else realize how bad soda is for you? it will rot your teeth and add to that spare tire you've already got going!!! on the positive side, it is much cheaper than a bottle of water, isn't that just pathetic?

When I was living in Oregon, my local Safeway actually count the cans and pay me back for what I paid in deposit. But here in California I only get paid back by weight. And it's about 50-60% of what I paid in deposit. :|

I just got tire of it and dump them all in trash (since my apt complex does not offer recyling). Yeah I know....I am killing the future for my grandkids. Oh well.

Soda
Pop
Soda Pop
Coke (in the south this means any soft drink)
Cola
Cold drink
>>

birddog: Im in A2 as well and I always get free shipping. I just got my second shipment of soda from OD yesterday. If it helps, I live right by downtown. The OD is at the south edge of town on main.
