I think Taproot might have something good with the new cd based off the first single. But nothing will ever top Gift.

Every few days PRP is an good place for metal news.

Gift was an awesome album, but I really liked their latest. The new one is sounding REALLY good. There's a few leaks on YouTube if you search for the Taproot channel. It's more heavy like Gift was.

I just heard "Let's Get the Show on the Road" the other day on the radio. It's one of his songs you don't hear on the radio very often, at least i hardly ever hear it.

I'd never heard of them until "What I Got" hit the radio, and Brad died weeks before they even released that album. They never even went gold with any album (500k sales) before he died. http://www.riaa.com/goldandpla...sort=Artist&perPage=50

Only well after he died they went multiplatinum or gold on all of their albums. Maybe they were popular with the dub or college circuit, but def not nationally known.

they had 2 albums out before Brad ODed, they were popular with the people i knew /shrug

Sublime was definitely unsuccessful before he died.

Well... I guess that depends on how you gauge success.
