yeah, my neighbor wanted cowher included but clearly he is not among the best... matters well include jeff fischer, lmao.

i'd say the greatest as it stands is belichick although parcells has comedy points and lombardi was, hell he could coach my team anyday. nut fact is belichick has outcoached them all.

if this is a repost, oh well. my alarm is going off and i haven't yet slept. breakfast is calling i guess.

lombardi couldn't do what he did in this day and age. otherwise, he's a close second to belichick.

joe gibbs, without a doubt.

three superbowls with three different quarterbacks (theismann, williams, and rypien)... not to mention the nfc title in the strike-shortened 1982 season and nfc east championships in 1983, 1984, 1987, and 1991.

gibbs only had one losing season (7-9 in 1988)

Marvin Lewis is on his way to at least making it to the final cuts.

He's turned the worst team in the league into a contender for the super bowl.

Of course, having a Heisman winning quarterback has helped, but there's no reason to downplay it.

i won't discount what Gibbs has done, especially winning the bowl with williams.... but head to head, belichick would devestate gibbs.

highly doubtful. the pats have basically had the same team everytime they won the superbowl. now that they don't have some of their offensive players and their defense is not as good, they're gonna suck. i think a huge reason why the pats were so good was because of bruschi. when he came back, the pats actually dug themselves out of the hole they were in. not only that, but it's not like tom brady's hard to coach... the guy's narually talented (michigan alums typically are).

edit: yes, the pats made ass soup out of the skins during the preseason, but who cares? that's preseason. only idiots care about preseason records.

one other thing.... during those years the redskins were racking up those gaudy win totals, the coboys sucked and the leagues favorite whipping boy, the cardinals were in the division.

well, then i guess you're in for a surprise. bruschi may be a sparkplug, but what makes the pats go is Brady, Seymour, Wilfork and now Marroney. Pats go 12-4 this year (they better, i have the over )

who cares? what do the cardinals have to do with anything?

look at the afc east... pats, bills, 'phins, and jets.... what a strong division that is  nail-biting time for the pats... oh, no!

if the pats go that far, it'd be because the afc will suck balls (just like it normally does... not saying the nfc was stellar the past couple years, though.)

the pas have a prtetty easy schedule this year but they've had monster schedules the last two years +.

and if gibbs couldn't win with theismann, riggins and arguably the greatest o-line in nfl history, then he's a mental defect.

the bungles had 1 years as one of the worst teams in the nfl. there were a lot of "great" players who flopped before palmer. funny thing is, the bengals had the league's best draft in 2001 under dick lebeau, who had like 4 wins in 2 seaons...4 curent starters from that drft, including chad johnson, rudi johnson, and tj houz.

lol, at least know how to spell lombardi before proclaiming everyone else "know nothings".

fact is lombardi coached in a day of no free agency, no hold outs and when coaches had free reign.

i give belichick, parcellls hell even cowher alot more credit for what they accomplish today.

but i'd stack belichick up against any coach. landry? gibbs? shula? please. belichick destroys them. tuna might be competition.
