Euthanasia only happens when the one that's going to die wants to. The mouse who has been put in the freezer didn't want to die and Euthanasia is a painless and fast death. Dieing in a freezer isn't.

So there is a huge difference between Euthanasia and putting a living mouse in a freezer.

OK, let's make that a bit clearer. Why is legalized euthanasia cruel? Because you help somebody who's got a terminal disease who doesn't want to live anymore with dying?
In my humble opinion that's still better than the legalized killing of healthy people who do not want to die. Why is a death penalty better than euthanasia?
Everybody has the right to live. So why shouldn't you have the right to die?
