Any ideas?

I am stumped.

Knives are cool. I was looking for cufflinks, unique ones, was thinking superhero ones but I wasn't impressed with what I found.

I thought this was a clever idea but it looks like its been done about a billion times:

Any suggestions?

Addendum:
Some things I have stumbled upon in my googling:
http://www.thinkgeek.com/interests/dads/e841/ - So badass I kinda just want to buy one for myself.

http://www.cufflinks.com/superhero-cufflinks.html - DC licensed Cufflinks.

http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheClayCollection - Hipster Nerd-chic cufflinks from etsy

http://www.etsy.com/listing/10066054...e_id=340129338 - kinda badass handmade tie clips from etsy (hipsters)

I am pretty disappointed about the choices for tie clips/bars. I thought they would have been cool but it is all bland and boring.
I am also disgusted by the cost of cufflinks. I had no idea they were so much. I have a pair my mom bought me just shoved in a drawer somewhere and now I kind of feel bad. Makes me also think cufflinks are a bad choice.

Take them all out for a straight razor shave and then give them a gift of nice cufflinks or a nice expensive ink pen set.

cliche? idk, but i'm doing custom converse star players with our wedding colors accenting it and their initals. fairly reasonable price. will present at the dinner and we can wear during the reception

A buddy of mine did something similar with chuck taylors. It was pretty cool but we are going dress shoes optional for the reception anyway.

Two gifts I've gotten that I liked were a giant beer stein engraved with a nickname on the side and tickets to go with the other groomsman to see the Browns and Bills play this September

Cool ideas though.

I did really nice flasks with engraved nicknames and alcohol (scotch and rum to go with their respective tastes) to for two of mine. My best man and I went sky diving

I like the idea of zippos.

I got cufflinks when I was a groomsman at my sister's wedding... after the wedding, I threw them in a drawer in my house and I don't think I've thought about them since. (said wedding was also the last time I had to wear anything that would require cufflinks)

I got a Zippo lighter, which seemed kind of pointless to me because I don't smoke and use flint and steel whenever I need fire, but everyone else seemed to love them. I gave my groomsmen iPod Shuffles with their names engraved. Didn't hear anything about them so I don't know if they were a hit or not.

Yeah Zippos are lousy for camping cuz they leak and drain quickly. But they make excellent gifts.
For camping I recommend the peanut lighter from County Comm. They dont leak.

Actually, they might make good gifts too.

i am assuming these are your friends. do you ever see them wearing cuff links or tie clips? my brother gave his groomsmen a pocket watch. i have no idea where mine is, because i don't wear pocket watches. my other brother gave his groomsmen nice leatherman multi-tools. i know exactly where that is because i use it all the time. i know the point is to commemorate the occasion, but it's also nice for the item to be useful so it doesn't end up in a box in storage somewhere.
