gross female cop gave me a citation today. stupid hick town

town of what, 5000? i just moved here due to financial ruin, and this chick obviously had been watching me before because she knew where i lived.

she was sitting at the park doing nothing, because nothing ever happens here. she pulls out as i pass and follows me. as soon as i pull into my driveway she flicks on her lights.

i get out with my groceries and she FREAKS OUT. "GET BACK IN YOUR CAR AND SIT DOWN!"

I said "yes this is my car" thinking she asked if i owned the vehicle. she was obviously all riled up and hard to understand.

"SIT IN YOUR CAR NOW!"

she comes up and says "I know you live here. Do you know your registration is expired? "

"yes i do"

"Why is it expired?"

"i dont have any money. thats why im living here in the middle of nowhere. I drive 1 mile to the grocery store and back, you seen me, you know that"

"i know, but youre still driving. I am going to write you a citation and you can fight it in court. Whats the address of this place?" i tell her, then she looks over at the mailbox. "ok" she says.

she goes to her car, comes back with a $175 ticket.

"are you kidding me" i say

"this is what its for blah blah blah" she rambles

"you realize i cant pay that either, right?"

"well youll have to get your registration done and show the judge then, they might let you off the ticket"

"jones is your name?" i ask (fake name im using for here of course)

"yes"

"first name?"

"deputy jones" she smirks

i just half smiled and gave her the "ok, asshole" look and she left. i think from now on when i drive by her im going to flip her off. fucking moron. my family has been in this town over 50 years and pay some of the highest taxes there are here because we own lakefront property. she just pissed me off and i doubt she realizes how many people we know in this town....

guys, i understand i need registration. i didnt have it because im broke, and i still dont understand why it costs over $100 every year to keep your name in a state registry.

what bothers me about this though is why she had to be a dick. she acted like i was a total pile of shit, before i even said a word. i think she obviously was a lesbian.

I will never understand people who are so stubborn and even proud of being deadbeats. Any grown man in the United States should be able to afford car registration. Get your shit together and stop blaming the world for your own failures.

Seriously though, if you can't afford to drive and you live in a small town, go to walmart and get a bike. $60 and you won't have to worry about this anymore.

Here's a tip. Buy a cheap bicycle or walk. Your decision to drive such a short distance for groceries shows why you are poor (via making poor choices).
