You could always make your own edibles from flower, firecrackers are easy-peasy, but you can make cannabutter if you want to get more adventurous with your recipes.

Yeah a friend of mine shared a interesting recipe on the cannabutter. Told me to put real butter in a small stainless steel pot. Let it simmer till its fully melted, turn down the heat and toss in the shake and stir. Cover it and then pot that put into another much bigger pot filled partially with water. Put the small pot into that one, then cover it completely. Occasionally stir it, keeping it on low heat. The longer you let it simmer, the better off it will be. Grab a coffee filter or maybe a pair if they are that cheap, strain out the actual shake. Let the butter cool, then put it into the fridge and then toss it into anything that requires it!

I heard if you do overnight runs or get close to 12 hours, your gonna have some potent stuff. I had some of his edibles based off this, and yeah i never had anything like them. I am assuming his recipe was legit with my claims of course. Maybe it could be tweaked, or maybe its perfect. Easy peasy indeed.

All I can tell you is this...you are constantly learning when it comes to cannabis. I'll be honest with you, I only grow feminised auto flowers...they are done after 3 months. Youtube has been my greatest source for information. a fellow canadian has a great channel. pigeon420

I practice herbalism, i intake any herb with health benefits. Mainly its tea so far, but looking at other stuff as well. I like to maximize the potency of any herb with various experiments when i can. I may make those edibles this week lol. Learning is something i do often with this stuff.

Never grown herbs, been mostly vegetables though. Should be interesting, i may put it off Corona clears up. Not much in the mood to hit big stores and exposing myself. I could just buy the stuff online and have it shipped, then do what i wanna do with it for now. Read up, learn and watch videos. Grow it from seed next year with the know how.

Thanks for the recommendation, seen some in my groups i joined on Facebook mention that channel occasionally. Bookmarked for future reference.

that depends....i'm pretty sure after a couple of harvests you will have recouped your initial hardware costs, and if electricity is included in rent then it's def cheaper
You should be able to get close to 1.5 pounds from 4 plants and at Ontario Canabis Store pricing that's ~5k CDN$

Marijuana Bonzia trees are a thing apparently?

That really is a beautiful plant. The amount of complex geometry could keep one observing it for extended periods of time....especially after a bowl. A quick Google seems to indicate these plants can live for many years if you harvest/tend them correctly. Odour would certainly be an issue for Indoors though.

Oh man that is really kinda sad. While I can appreciate the time and effort taken to create something so beautiful I'm also torn because I know how wonderful, beautiful, and majestic a full grown and mature marijuana plant can be.

uhh I don't know what sites you have been reading. Marijuana is an annual, it will die after it flowers unless they have managed some crazy GMO stuff that I don't know about.

Supposedly if you prune it back properly it will grow new branches.

While in the strictest sense that is true but when it comes to a lot of plants it's harder to define death. Vegetative cuttings can be taken and rooted very easily even in the flowering stage. Not just with weed but a lot of other plants as well. The entire modern horticulture industry is built on this principle.

So anyway, if a cutting is exactly the same as the host it was taken from is the host really dead or does it live on? How many vegetative cuttings can you take before the cutting is no longer a copy of the host? That is a question that a lot of breeders are pushing the boundaries on because eventually a mutation happens and when it does and you don't catch it in time it can ruin decades worth of work.

Also kind of an interesting side note to what I was talking about before. Plants aren't the only living organisms on Earth with the ability to reproduce asexually. I've often found it fascinating that a lot of marine life can do it as well. Anemones, jellyfish, and certain corals can also do this especially stony corals. The stony corals are the ones that fascinate me the most because they are almost like a bridge between plant and animal.
They have the structure and look of underwater trees but the way they ingest food is more like an animal. Almost like their roots are on the stems and branches instead of in the ground.
