Grrr... My wife hit a parked car w/pics

After having a nice argument with my wife last night and this morning on the phone and having another 16 hr workday, I come home to have her tell me she hit a parked car and didn't even notice.

How much damage am I looking at? The door handle is messed up but the door works fine. The front quarter panel's paint is scuffed but there are no dents. It looks like she hit a sideview mirror which dented the side of the door until it hit the door handle causing it to pop open a bit.

I feel bad for the person's car she hit. Unfortunately, she is a typically oblivious woman driver who didn't even know she hit someone until after she got home and saw the damage.

And yes, I know my car needs a wash but its been snowing on and off for weeks so a wash would probably be good only for a day or two.

Maybe she was yappin but she said she was going down a narrow 2 way street when some jerk didn't pull over to the side and went straight down the middle. She pulled over to avoid him and thought she just scraped the mirror or something but since the mirror was still in place, she didn't think anything of it.

Actually, I take the bus.

Its not practical to drive into NYC. If I need to I have my old BMW which we prefer to drive when not shuttling the kids around.

My uncle's wife drives around a 98 Nissan Pathfinder (loaded) and she messed up the car too, hit a parked cars door; blew it right open. Left the car in neutral downhil; while both kids are in the car... I ran like a mofo to catch up with it. Sratched and dented the hell out of the car.

My uncle is now paying OVER $3500 a year because of her... he regrets ever getting a license for her. Come on its NY..we have Mass transit.... dumb wives... NEVER EVER will I share or buy car with my wife (surely I say it now.. once I'm married I know I'll be pvssy whipped )
