Grrrr ... 6800gt pcie price raises

Monarch has raised the prices on all their PCIE 6800gt's, and they seemed to have the best prices by far. The BFG 6800gt OC went from $420 to $450:|. When will these just hit MSRP?????

the BFG 6800gt OC is down to $425 now, so that appears to have been a false alarm. Type?

Its still $5 over where it was, and $25 over where it should be, but im staying hopeful that it will come down by the end of this week.

Some guy in my neighborhood put his unopened BFG 6800gt agp on craigslist.org for $330. I snagged that and sold my radeon 9700 for $60. Pretty happy with the resulting gains but i think my p4 2.6 cpus holding me back. I play farcry at 1280x1028 with settings on High (but not Very High) and no AA/AF and i still get occasional hiccups.

that pisses me off...i wanted to get a 6800GT pcie for my new rig in december, but i ended up going AGP/AMD instead of PCIe/Intel because the PCIe versions were out of my $ range.
oh well, APG will stick around for quite a while, not complainin
